Peace Hills Insurance
responsive website & rebranding
case study
background
Peace Hills Insurance is an auto, home and business insurance provider to Western Canada established in 1982 by the Samson Cree Nation. Insurance is sold solely to brokers rather than individuals.
The current website only contains tools for brokers to access information (account page). Customers visiting the website are directed to find a broker and contact them via phone.
problem
Redirecting potential customers away from the site is a lost sales opportunity. There is no direct way to connect them with a broker currently and the user flow feels like a dead end.
The current website is outdated in design and is not completely responsive, being incompatible with smaller screen sizes.
target audience
Tech savvy individuals ages 20-60 who live busy lives and require convenience, including new drivers, entrepreneurs and home owners.
solution & strategy
Rebranding Peace Hills to convey a friendly tone and removing stress from the insurance hunting process.
Integrating an online connection to brokers directly from the website while maintaining the broker tools. The focus of my redesign is creating a well designed responsive website that directs consumers to get a quote, file a claim online and view their account information.

Rebranding Process
I took the outdated logo and explored calming colours combined with triangular shape. From multiple iterations came an arced form that represents the transparency and flexibility the company prides itself on.
responsive website
The end result is a responsive website for mobile and desktop platforms. A re-imagined logo and branding focusing on a relaxing and stress-free experience with a friendly approach to insurance.
Navigation is clean, clear and calls to action are directed on getting a quote, finding a broker or logging into your account. The hero images reinforce the brand by utilizing the brand colours and shapes.
Getting a quote is as simple as filling out a short questionnaire and having the nearest broker reach out to you in 48 hours. Each section would only appear after completing to section prior, also allowing for the user to navigate back up and altering answers.
