Photographer John Beckman was looking to update his old website that had limited the view of his images. His original site was not responsive to smaller devices and looked outdated. 

strategy / solution

John really was looking to display his modern images to their full impact. The final site was one that was very focused on his imagery, utilizing the full width of the screen on the home page with a slideshow style banner. The entire site was a vertical scroll format, showing his work in a masonry grid. 

The individual image view opened a new page rather than a light box view. This dedicated an entire screen width to this image with a small caption.
